Marie Trace: Being raised in Africa, my stories have been influenced by what everyone thinks of as the dark continent. I call it home and specifically South Africa's lush tropical east coast. Dams, beaches, mountains we have it all and with this incredible amount of natural beauty comes an awesome amount of inspiration. My stories may be as convoluted as the road that takes me to my home town or as strange as having someone pull on a tame zebra's tail to get it to move of the road.
